Dear Resident,
We hope you are having a wonderful summer and have found time to enjoy some of the opportunities the season brings, whether that's getting involved in your community, spending time with loved ones, or simply taking a well-earned break. It's certainly been a busy and inspiring time for Neighbourhood Watch Scotland, with lots happening in local communities and through our work with partners and volunteers.
We are delighted to share the latest edition of our Community Buzz, showcasing some of the people, projects, and partnerships helping to build safer, stronger, and more connected communities.
In this issue, you'll find highlights from Volunteers’ Week in June, read about the well-deserved success of a long-standing Neighbourhood Watch coordinator, and learn more about our very first Communi-Tea gathering in July. We also provide an update on some exciting developments behind the scenes, including improvements to our website and the creation of a new Coordinators' Hub, which is due to launch later this year.
As always, we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supports Neighbourhood Watch Scotland. Whether you're part of a Watch, receive our alerts, volunteer in your local area, or support community initiatives, your contribution is greatly appreciated.
We hope you enjoy reading the Community Buzz and sharing it with friends, family, and others in your community. As summer begins to draw to a close, we would like to thank you for your continued support and for the positive difference you help make in communities every day.
Best wishes,
The Neighbourhood Watch Scotland Team
